IEM’s Wheel Impact Load Detector 2.0 (WILD 2.0) uses sets of
strain gauges in addition to triaxial accelerometers to
measure both lateral and vertical impacts as they are
applied to the rail. WILD 2.0 detects High Impact Wheels,
Truck Hunting, Misaligned Wheels, Unbalanced Loads,
and Vehicle Weights.

The WILD 2.0 sensors are bolted to the base of the
rail, minimizing installation and eliminating the
need for drilling or welding.
